Why use propane? Propane is a highly functional “green” product, used for everything from home heating to fueling generators, contractor’s job-site heating, grain drying, hot water tanks, vehicle fleets, and much more. Propane is a far more energy-efficient source than electricity, and it’s also less expensive. New propane equipment is 20-30% more efficient than comparable oil heat. Produced and distributed in the U.S., propane cuts, emissions, and protects the environment. Perhaps the question should be, why not use propane?

Home Heat
Efficient Energy
Mulgrew Propane is a safe, clean-burning energy choice that instantly provides a system that’s 20 degrees warmer compared to electric heat pumps. An electric water tank can take an hour to completely recover, but propane can do the job in less than 20 minutes. A tankless propane water heater can have an efficiency level as high as 94 percent!
Save Money
Mulgrew Propane is the better pick to save money versus electric. Why? Measured in BTUs, propane systems deliver more heating value than electricity. A propane furnace heats air to about 115-130 °F in short intervals, minimizing your operating costs. Propane furnaces can last 5-10 years longer than electric, saving replacement costs.
Safety
Propane has an incredible safety record as the result of strict regulations set up by the propane industry in cooperation with the National Fire Protection Association. By nature of its built-in safety properties, propane won’t ignite when combined with air until the source of ignition reaches 950 °F. Propane gas is the “green energy” choice — producing less emissions than natural gas and completely non-toxic.
